1. You own your business data

Subscribers retain ownership of company, payee, cheque, template and operational data entered into their workspace. PrintMyCheque processes it only to provide, secure and improve the contracted service or meet legal obligations.

2. Tenant isolation

Company-owned records carry a company identifier and application queries restrict access to the active workspace. Team access is controlled through roles and membership status.

3. Data minimisation

The product is designed to work using only the last four bank-account digits. Users should not enter full account numbers, OTPs, PINs, passwords or signatures into free-text fields, support messages or cheque-image uploads.

4. Export and portability

Available cheque registers, Positive Pay records, reconciliation results, invoices and reports can be exported through their respective modules. Additional account-level export requests can be submitted through support and will be verified before release.

5. Deletion and retention

Cheque and financial records use soft deletion and audit history to protect integrity. Account closure requests are assessed against invoice, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute and statutory retention duties. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymised according to the applicable schedule.

6. Backups and recovery

Production deployments should maintain encrypted, access-controlled backups with tested restoration. Deleted or corrected data can remain in backups until the backup cycle expires and is not restored except for disaster recovery.

7. Security incidents

Suspected unauthorised access should be reported immediately through the Contact page. We investigate, contain and notify affected parties or authorities where applicable.
