This policy explains how PrintMyCheque operates and what users should verify. If you have a question about your account, contact our team without sharing passwords, OTPs or full bank-account numbers.
1. Information we collect
We collect information provided during registration, onboarding, billing and support, plus information generated while the service is used.
- Identity and contact details such as name, email and mobile number.
- Company and billing details such as legal name, address and GSTIN when supplied.
- Bank identification data such as bank name, account-holder name, branch, IFSC and only the last four account digits unless an optional encrypted field is explicitly used.
- Cheque records, payees, approval history, templates, printer calibration and audit activity.
- Technical information such as login time, browser, IP address, error and security logs.
- Payment status and provider references; card, UPI or net-banking credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by PrintMyCheque.
2. Why we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, process subscriptions, generate invoices, support users, prevent abuse, maintain audit history, improve reliability and comply with legal obligations. Optional product guidance, feedback and WhatsApp communication follow your saved preferences and consent.
3. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only where needed with infrastructure, storage, email, WhatsApp, AI, payment and professional-service providers acting for the service; with workspace members authorised by the subscriber; or where disclosure is required by law. Providers receive only the data needed for their task.
4. AI-assisted cheque detection
When you choose AI field detection, the uploaded cheque image is processed to identify printable regions. Do not upload signed cheques or images containing unnecessary full account information. AI suggestions require your review and are never automatically approved.
5. Retention
Operational, invoice, payment, audit and security records are retained for the subscription, support and statutory periods that apply. Uploaded images and generated files follow their configured retention schedule. Data may remain in protected backups until normal backup expiry.
6. Security
We use tenant-scoped access, password hashing, anti-forgery protection, encrypted transport, role controls, parameterised database access, audit history and restricted provider credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected compromise promptly.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update communication preferences, export available workspace records, correct profile or billing information and request assistance with access, deletion or restriction where legally applicable. Financial, invoice, fraud-prevention and audit records may need to be retained.
8. Children and international processing
The service is intended for businesses and authorised adults, not children. Some technology providers may process encrypted or limited data outside your state or country under contractual safeguards.
9. Contact and updates
Submit privacy questions through the Contact page. We will post material policy updates here and revise the updated date.
