This policy explains how PrintMyCheque operates and what users should verify. If you have a question about your account, contact our team without sharing passwords, OTPs or full bank-account numbers.
Software assistance only
PrintMyCheque is a software tool for positioning and printing information on pre-printed cheque leaves. It is not a bank, payment system, legal adviser, accountant or verification authority.
Verify before issue
The user must review the physical output before signing or handing over any cheque.
- Confirm payee spelling, amount in figures and words, date, cheque number and account.
- Confirm the leaf is genuine, unused, undamaged and belongs to the selected account.
- Confirm printer scale is 100%, margins are correct and the output aligns with the bank's cheque format.
- Apply signatures and authorisations required by the bank and your organisation.
No guarantee of bank acceptance
A correct preview or print does not guarantee payment or acceptance. Banks may reject cheques because of signature differences, overwriting, stale or post-dated dates, insufficient funds, stop instructions, account restrictions, format changes or other banking rules.
AI and templates
AI-detected fields and community or public templates are starting points. The user must test, calibrate and approve every layout for the actual cheque leaf and printer. Never rely on an image preview alone.
Records and legal timelines
Status labels, reminders, bounce timelines and payment advice are organisational aids and are not legal conclusions. Obtain qualified advice for cheque disputes, Section 138 matters, tax treatment or statutory notices.
Branding
PrintMyCheque branding may appear on a separate payment advice or trial output. It is not a bank endorsement, signature, alteration or representation that the underlying cheque has been verified.
