A cheque layout controls where each value prints. Approved layouts provide a starting point; AI-assisted detection helps when your exact cheque leaf is not available.
Use sample or masked information while testing. Verify the physical output before issuing any cheque.
- 1STEP 1
Check for a ready layout
Search for your bank during setup and look for the Ready layout label.
- Select the bank and review the available cheque layout.
- The exact leaf design can still vary, so always test it.
- 2STEP 2
Upload a safe blank image
Open Cheque designer and choose a clear, straight image of an unused blank cheque.
- Do not upload a signed cheque.
- Mask complete account numbers where practical before uploading.
- 3STEP 3
Review automatic detection
Detection suggests payee, date, amount, amount-in-words, signature and cheque-number positions.
- Wait for the processing indicator to finish.
- Inspect every suggested box; detection is a starting point, not final approval.
- 4STEP 4
Adjust and test
Move or resize fields, set dimensions and save the private layout.
- Use millimetre controls for fine adjustment.
- Run a test print before using the layout for a real payment.
Final checklist
Confirm these items before you finish.
- Image is straight, clear and shows all four edges
- No signature, OTP or confidential handwritten information is visible
- Cheque width and height match the physical leaf
- Every detected field has been reviewed
